Cost: $80.00                       Model Fee: $25 for release, tips appreciated

Class Summary:

Photographers of any experience level are welcomed to Trent Chau Photography's first Figure Lighting Workshop of 2010.
This six hour long (at least) workshop is designed to maximize your shooting time. 2 beautiful models, at least 4 lighting schemes, and a wonderful location ensures that you will get portfolio and gallery worthy photos.

Lighting and instructions provided by Trent Chau, but you are free to shoot your style and how you want. A model assistant is provided to help you with any props or directions you may have for the model. Photographers are welcomed to introduce props and ideas (within reason, please confirm with Trent first) to help maximize the uniqueness of their shooting experience.

At least six hours of shooting, possibly more so come in, have fun, and lets have a great time getting awesome photos.


Basic Requirements: Class attendee must be aware of how to use their camera (adjust manual settings, etc). Instructions is of course provided but please let other photographers shoot while you receive instructions or directions.

Equipment Required: Camera with hot shoe, memory card, props and modifiers welcome. If you are bringing anything of large size please contact Trent Chau first.

Topics Covered: Figure lighting, Nude Model, 3~4 lights, Soft box with Grids, White Balance, Mixing light sources, Model interaction and posing, Shooting for portfolio.

This workshop is designed to maximize your shooting time. There is a limited amount of photographers so that you can have plenty of time to shoot with and talk to the models. Instructions/Advice/Critique will be supplied by Trent Chau or any other willing photographer. Since this is a workshop environment you are welcome to try out ideas with props as long as the model is comfortable and they use the current lighting setup for that set.

Absolutely no touching or handling of models by photographers without permission of the model. Any offending party will be asked to leave the premise at the discretion of Trent Chau Photography, Fringe Collective Studio, and the Model.
