Testimonials from Photographers

“Trent is really a great guy to work with.  He’s dependable, helpful, and a very talented shooter.  Out of all of the second shooters I’ve worked with, he’s stood apart as the best one.  His eye, technical skills, and gear help him shoot at a high level relative to most second shooters.  He also tends to be one step ahead and doing things that need to be done before I have to ask him, which is very helpful.  Whenever I have an opening for a second, he’s always the first guy I come to.”

Why Trent?

Experience :
Second shooters are critical in backing up the primary photographer by capturing the essential shots that compliment the total package. With the experience I brings to the table, there are no excuses or concerns that your second shooter will miss those special fleeting moments while fumbling with camera settings. For the past five years I have worked both as the primary shooter for many events and weddings, and more importantly as a secondary shooter to several talented photographers. This ensures that I have the background necessary to satisfy not only the client’s needs, but your needs as well.

I have also served as an instructor for lighting workshops, guaranteeing a solid technical understanding in how to light your client’s photos in a unique and creative way.

I am experienced in traditional weddings and also non-traditional weddings such as Jewish, Pakastani, Indian, Eastern Asian, and those of different religious beliefs.

Professionalism :
A second shooter is not only critical to expanding your range at the event, they also represent your company while working for you. The image presented to your clients is critical to your business. I will dress professionally, act appropriately towards your client and their guests at all times, and engage guests respectfully when interacting with them while shooting.

Professionalism also means respecting your business relationships. I will NEVER solicit business while working as your second shooter, and will actively promoting your company while working. I am very serious about this and there is no compromise.

Equipment :
Your second shooter should provide their own reliable, professional–grade equipment. I currently shoot with current Canon camera's and a wide range of lenses and accessories in order to meet the unique needs of event & wedding photography, such as shooting wide, up close and in dark available light, and one of his strengths lies in using off–camera lighting to achieve beautiful results.

Creativity :
Everyone loves a unique and creative photograph, as it helps to remind them how fun their wedding was. As a second shooter, not only can I capture photos for you with technically aptitude, I can also capture unique, fun and creative photos that make your whole package stand out.

Liability:
As a second shooter, I am insured and I also carry redundant equipment. Just like you know you have no excuse for broken equipment, I carry the same mentality. My insurance not only covers equipment damage, but also liability to any personal harm caused by my equipment.
